Hoda Barakat

Hoda Barakat is a Lebanese novelist who spent her early life in Beirut before relocating to Paris. Her extensive body of work includes six novels, two plays, a collection of short stories, and a memoir. Originally written in Arabic, her books have been translated into numerous languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
